Well, friends, here we are in Pride Month. Rather than align ourselves with the Pride festivities planned for London that typically take place next month, we decided that we would spend this month following the American calendar and reflecting on issues important to us. This decision takes the shape of a new short tale for our patrons, Death II.
Last month we were delighted to once again be a part of Swansea Zine Fair, and, as such, you will find our etsy store refreshed with summer fare in order to celebrate the occasion!
This month, in case you missed it, we also debuted two new cards for patrons as part of the trading card battle system commonly employed in the playground here at the school, hopefully adding a bit more variety in the endless struggles between the girls of our proud institution. In addition to this reveal, these special cards were also seen in action in our ongoing serial, Sophia! (IX., X., Interlude., XI.), and we hope that will take a moment to witness this phantastical struggle in the skies over Hong Kong between an ancient order of knights and the agents of an evil god.
Not known for our enthusiasm when it comes to commenting on speculation regarding the pop culture of other nations, nonetheless we also took a moment to consider what might happen if certain rumours doing the rounds about a specific Japanese television programme turned out to be true in the suitably titled Victory!, whilst likewise looking back on the genre in ね~え?
To close out the month, we returned again to our consideration of the eternal fiend, the vampire, travelling back in time to an era of monochrome poverty and desperation somewhere in America, and dwelling on a dread and terrible deal at the moment of payment in our tale, Bruxa.
As always, we are grateful for your support. We know not what the future holds, yet we hope that you will join us as we find out!
