Our headmistress still very much feels the cold, and despite our attempts to persuade her that it is now very much spring, soon to be summer, we keep finding her and her armada of cats warming themselves near the fan heater in the mornings and evenings.
Despite this bad behaviour from our figurehead, we have had an exciting month at the school!
We begun with a new issue of our school magazine, its pages featuring conversations of such varied musical diversions from post-hardcore to deathgrind. We went all about town for this issue—or at least to Milton Keynes and back—and featured discussion of artists from as far afield as America, Canada, and Japan.
Shortly after, thanks to patron Androzani84, we launched into Rivals Week at both the school and on the Black Saturn server, delivering two parts of our new three-part serial, A Nation of Ogres, itself a work rooted in some very old traditions, both from pop culture and folklore.
Our adventures with Mina continued in Under Ice also, as our young heroine continues to struggle to make sense of the weight of the burden she has inherited.
It's been a lovely month at the school, and as we get closer and closer to June and the changeover into our summer uniforms, we are excited to see what the rest of this year will bring!
